Terms of sale
Last updated: 2026-10-07
These terms of sale (the “Terms”) apply when you order services or goods through the website akvavista.lt (the “Website”). The contract between you and the seller is concluded when we confirm your order or request by email or phone.
1. General provisions
The Terms are drafted in accordance with the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the Law on Consumer Protection and other applicable legislation.
The Website presents freshwater aquarium services, rentals, equipment and supplies. Services are provided to both individuals and business clients.
2. The seller
- Name: Akvavista (owner Viktoras Peleckis)
- Address: Jakstonių g. 11, LT-11320 Vilnius, Lithuania
- Phone: +370 621 17712
- Email: viktoras.pel@gmail.com
- VAT status: not a VAT payer. Prices are not increased by VAT. Once registered for VAT, the seller will add VAT at the applicable rate.
- The bank account for payments is stated on each invoice.
3. Ordering services
Services (aquarium design, setup, maintenance, repair, rentals) are ordered by filling in the request form on the Website or by contacting us by email or phone. We confirm requests within 1 business day, agreeing on the scope, timing and price.
The specific conditions of each service (scope, deadlines, cancellation terms) are agreed at the time of ordering and recorded in the confirmation email.
4. Goods
The online shop will be launched separately. Until then, goods can be ordered by email or phone — these Terms and individually agreed conditions apply. Once the shop is live, the goods purchase procedure (cart, payment, delivery) will be published on the Website.
5. Prices and payment
- All prices are stated in euros (EUR).
- Payment is made by bank transfer against an issued invoice, or by any other method published on the Website (e.g. card payment once enabled).
- Invoices are issued with a unique number (e.g. AKV-0001) and sent by email.
- Payment must be made within the deadline stated on the invoice. Services are performed or goods delivered after payment is received, unless otherwise agreed.
6. Performance of obligations
Services are performed at the agreed time at the client's premises or another agreed location. Goods are delivered as described in the “Shipping” section.
If obligations cannot be performed on time due to circumstances beyond the seller's control (force majeure), deadlines are extended accordingly and the client is informed without delay.
7. Withdrawal and returns
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal and a goods return procedure, described in detail in the “Returns & withdrawal” section.
8. Conformity of goods and quality of services
Goods sold must conform to contractual and statutory quality requirements. Consumers benefit from a 2-year statutory conformity period.
If a service is performed improperly or late, the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania applies regarding the duty to perform the service properly or to refund the amount paid (in full or in part).
9. Liability
The seller is not liable for losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client (e.g. incorrect aquarium volume, equipment or condition), or from circumstances beyond the seller's control. For non-performance caused by the seller's fault, liability follows Lithuanian law.
10. Dispute resolution and applicable law
All disputes are resolved by negotiation. Failing agreement, disputes are settled in the courts of the Republic of Lithuania according to their statutory jurisdiction. Applicable law: Lithuanian law.
A consumer who believes their rights have been infringed may apply for out-of-court dispute resolution to the Vilnius International Conflict Resolution and Mediation Centre (J. Basanavičiaus g. 6A-101, LT-03116 Vilnius, tel. +370 5 262 9506, email tarpininkavimas@ktkc.lt). Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
